More about Custard Apples...

Custard Apple is an evergreen perennial plant with large, glossy leaves and can bear sweet fruits with proper care - the tree can grow 3 to 6 m tall.  It has small, pendulous flowers that bloom in spring and range in colour from yellowish-green to white. The fragrant, sweet, juicy fruit ripens in late summer and early Autumn.

The plant can produce high yields of delicious Custard Apples with sweet, creamy flesh. Rich in Vitamin C and dietary fibre, they have a unique flavour and can be used for fresh eating, smoothies, juice, and desserts.

The plant flourishes best in the dry and hot climate, so in the UK, ideally kept outdoors in the warmer summer months and brought indoors as the temperature drops.

The Custard Apple is technically self-pollinating. You only need one of these trees in order for them to bear fruit.
